Terms and Conditions
This agreement applies as between you, the User of this Web Site and Riverlandhusky, the
owner(s) of this Web Site. Your agreement to comply with and be bound by these terms and
conditions is deemed to occur upon your first use of the Web Site. If you do not agree to be
bound by these terms and conditions, you should stop using the Web Site immediately.
1. Definitions and Interpretation
In this Agreement the following terms shall have the following meanings:
“Content”
means any text, graphics, images, audio, video, software, data compilations and any other
form of information capable of being stored in a computer that appears on or forms part of
this Web Site.
Riverlandhusky
Means Riverland A/S organizations nr 912507270. Reisadalen 1126 9154 Storslett.
“Service”
means collectively any online facilities, tools, services or information that Riverland husky
Tours makes available through the Web Site either now or in the future.
“System”
means any online communications infrastructure that Riverlandhusky Tours makes available
through the Web Site either now or in the future. This includes, but is not limited to, web-
based email, message boards and email links.
Participant/Participants
means any third party that takes part, or is scheduled to take part in of Riverlandhusky
activities. This includes the person that made that made the reservation and all the other
people intended to take part in the tour.
Tour/Tours
means a scheduled dog sledding trip with Riverlandhusky. A husky tour reserved by a client
either by phone, email or through Riverlandhusky booking service.
“User” / “Users”
means any third party that accesses the Web Site and is not employed by Riverlandhusky
Tours and acting in the course of their employment. and
“Web Site”
means the website that you are currently using (Riverlandhusky.no) and any sub-domains of
this site (e.g. subdomain.Riverlandhusky.no/) unless expressly excluded by their own terms
and conditions.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 All cancellations must be made by e-mail. In conformity with business practices
within the Norwegian travel industry. Riverlandhusky is obliged to charge cancellation fees to
the client as follows:
For individual reservations (less than 10 persons):
- Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to your day of arrival: Cancellation fee is 50% of
the total amount. - Less than 3 days prior to your day of arrival: No refund.
For group reservations (10 persons or more):
Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to your day of arrival:
- Cancellation fee is 50%
of the total amount. - Less than 3 days prior to your day of arrival: No refund.
2.2 If the you are not there at the time of your booking, the guides are allowed to start the
tour without the missing participant (in order to not delay the tour for the rest of the
participants). This will be considered a “No Show” and no refund will be provided.
2.3 Any trip cancelled or interrupted by the client or because of the actions of the client
will result in no refund.
2.4 According to Norwegian trading law, you have the right to retract your gift card purchases
from our store within 14 days of receiving the card digitally or in the mail. If you wish to do
this, send us email for a full refund.
3. Insurance
Riverlandhusky strongly recommends to all its clients to purchase travel insurance from a
reputable provider in their country of origin, prior to their journey to Norway. It is important
for all travellers to protect themselves in case of unforseen problems or additional costs.
4. Limitation of Liability
4.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Riverlandhusky Tours accepts no liability
for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect,
consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of the Web Site or any
information contained therein. Users should be aware that they use the Web Site and its
Content at their own risk.
4.2 Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or restricts Riverlandhusky Tours’
liability for death or personal injury resulting from any negligence or fraud on the part of
Riverlandhusky Tours.
4.3 Riverlandhusky Tours acts as a tour operator and does not assume responsibility for
accidents or deaths that can be traced to the participant´s negligence, acts of third parties or
exterior circumstances beyond Riverlandhusky Tours control (force major) such as weather,
natural occurrences, war or other similar causes. No responsibility is accepted for losses,
expenses due to delays, changes of flights, or other services or because of strikes, accidents,
sickness, damage, negligence, weather, war, changes in schedules, or other similar causes
beyond our control. All such losses and expenses are the personal liability of the traveller.
4.4 Every effort has been made to ensure that these terms and conditions adhere strictly
with the relevant provisions of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. However, in the event
that any of these terms are found to be unlawful, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, that term
is to be deemed severed from these terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity and
enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions. This term shall apply only within
jurisdictions where a particular term is illegal.
4.5 The estimated duration of tours as indicated on our website, are standard times and
can vary. In all arrangements involving third parties Riverlandhusky Tours acts only as the
agent of the Client and no liability of any kind whatsoever shall be attached to
Riverlandhusky in connection with or arising from such arrangement with a third party.
4.6 All customers need to be able to be reachable either by the email or phone number
provided during the time of the booking. We are not responsible if the customer cannot be
reached before the tour due to wrong, not accurate information provided to Riverlandhusky
Tours. We advise to keep an eye on your e-mails for further communication.
4.7. Riverlandhusky Tours reserves all rights to delay, alter or cancel tours due to
weather or any unsafe conditions for safety reasons. Or to remove individuals where
participant(s) do(es) not follow the guides directions including but not restricted to entering
underground openings, traversing unsafe terrain, driving rules, time constraint issues or
failure to follow your guides instruction prior or during the tour.
4.8 We reserve the right to cancel any trip prior to departure if the minimum of
participant is not reached.
4.9 With the purchase of a tour through our website, you accept these conditions and
confirm that you understand them and that you accept responsibility for your participation in
your tour.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 All Content included on the Web Site, unless uploaded by Users, including, but not
limited to, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations,
page layout, underlying code and software is the property of Riverlandhusky Tours, our
affiliates or other relevant third parties. By continuing to use the Web Site you acknowledge
that such material is protected by applicable Norwegian and International intellectual property
and other relevant laws.
5.2 Subject to sub-clause 2.3 you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any
other fashion re-use material from the Web Site unless otherwise indicated on the Web Site or
unless given express written permission to do so by Riverlandhusky Tours.
5.3 Material from the Web Site may be re-used without written permission where any of
the exceptions detailed in Chapter III of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 apply.
6. Links to Other Web Sites
This Web Site may contain links to other sites. Unless expressly stated, these sites are not
under the control of Riverlandhusky Tours or that of our affiliates. We assume no
responsibility for the content of such web sites and disclaim liability for any and all forms of
loss or damage arising out of the use of them. The inclusion of a link to another site on this
Web Site does not imply any endorsement of the sites themselves or of those in control of
them.

9.1 Riverlandhusky makes no warranty or representation that the Web Site will meet
your requirements, that it will be of satisfactory quality, that it will be fit for a particular
purpose, that it will not infringe the rights of third parties, that it will be compatible with all
systems, that it will be secure and that all information provided will be accurate. We make no
guarantee of any specific results from the use of our Service.
9.2 No part of this Web Site is intended to constitute advice and the Content of this Web
Site should not be relied upon when making any decisions or taking any action of any kind.
10. Availability of the Web Site

Sjusjøen Husky Tours accepts no liability for any disruption or non-availability of the Web

or legal restrictions and censorship.

In the event that any party to these Terms and Conditions fails to exercise any right or remedy
contained herein, this shall not be construed as a waiver of that right or remedy.
12. Previous Terms and Conditions
In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Conditions and any prior versions
thereof, the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail unless it is expressly stated
otherwise.
13. Pricing
All pricing information on the website is correct at the time of going online. Riverlandhusky
Tours reserves the right to change prices and alter or remove any special offers from time to
time and as necessary. All pricing information is reviewed and updated every month.
14. Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions and the relationship between you and Riverlandhusky Tours shall
be governed by and construed in accordance with the Law of Norway and Riverlandhusky
Tours and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Norway.
With the purchase of a tour through our website you accept these conditions and confirm that
you understand them and that you accept responsibility for your participation in your tour.
